ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Wash Over Me

My collages are my creative reflection of the spirit, passion and oneness of life.

I began experimenting with collage as a student at Parsons School of Design.
By tearing paper and applying it to my canvas much like an impressionist painter would apply small strokes of paint,
I found a freedom of expression that has continued to evolve over the years.

In my collages, I layer torn bits of reclaimed magazines, wrapping paper,
chocolate foil wrappers, newspaper and more, upcycling them into works of art.

It is my mission to always create consciously so as to preserve and enhance the beauty of our planet.
We are all continually growing and evolving; we are the magnificent sum of our life experiences,
of our connection to the world around us and to our Source.
This is what I reflect in my art. This is what fills my soul.
